Dive into the interesting history of Castle Farms, built from 1917-18 by Chicago entrepreneur Albert Loeb as a dairy farm and then known as Loeb Farms. The farm and buildings were dormant for years until the 1960s when it changed ownership and became Castle VanHaver, an artist work space and studio open to the public. The Castle would also go on to become a rock and roll venue where the top acts of the 1960s to early 1990s preformed. Today the Castle is used for many local events and weddings and is open to the public for tours. Beautiful historic and present day photos of the property cover every page.
