Looking Back

Digital Editions

The Gannett media company canceled the Charlevoix Historical Society’s Charlevoix Courier column called “Looking Back” in early August of 2024.  The feature had appeared weekly since June of 2011, with over 650 articles written by society curator David L. Miles using selected texts from the Courier and its competitor, the Charlevoix Sentinel.  Most of the columns were accompanied by one or more historic photos from the society’s files. Selections frequently featured more than one period of Charlevoix’s history.

The Society’s website is now the new home of Looking Back. Please let us know how you like it. We are always open to comments and suggestions. info@chxhistory.com
