Description

This solid wood plaque, custom crafted from a felled oak tree once standing on the property of the Museum at Harsha House, commemorates the restoration project of Charlevoix’s historic train depot, led by the Charlevoix Historical Society, and recently honored with a Michigan State Governor’s Award for Historic Preservation.  A first-quality, heirloom collectible made by a local craftsman from a age-old tree that likely witnessed the coming of Charlevoix’s railway line in 1892.  Produced in a limited edition, only a few of these remain available.
