The complete story of Earl A. Young, one of Charlevoix’s most recognized figures of the 20th century. The legacy of the renowned builder in stone grows every year along with appreciation for his visionary boulder homes and structures, which have been visited from people from around the globe.

The 171-page book is fully illustrated with almost 400 photos. Many are striking color shots by photographer Mike Barton.  The biography also includes many vintage photos and Charlevoix area scenes (some taken by Earl himself), from the deep archived collection of the Charlevoix Historical Society.  The text is written by Society curator and historian David L. Miles.
